The company was started by Christopher Thoresson, following his experience running a Swedish firm focused on architectural drafting and floor plans for building permits. With a background in navigating the clean aesthetics and functional requirements of Swedish architecture, Christopher founded Scandibarn to bring that distinct perspective to the US barndominium market.
